I know people like this in every single industry. It's so frustrating. In our office, for example, one of our more senior directors refuses to use Zoom, so we have to come in for weekend meetings, apart from working in the office from Monday to Friday.
So if they're against modern technologies and treatment, how do they treat they're patients? I feel so bad for those little animals now!!!
Yes, there is something worse than having to work alongside an old school vet - having to work with someone who doesn't value your expertise or knowledge. It can be disheartening to put in hard work and dedication into a job, only for it not to be recognised by an experienced colleague who has been doing the job for years.
Many things worse, for sure, but at the job it's like... why are we doing this again if there are easier ways to do this?

That hasn't been my experience so far, though maybe I've just been lucky. They have been almost as interested in learning abut new treatments from me as I have been to learn from their experience.
