It’s been hard for me to get excited for the weekends lately since I rarely have plans with friends. I’m still happy to sleep in and not be at work. But the excitement and joy of leaving work on Friday isn’t fully there anymore. Can anyone relate?

Today I learned a new thing. One candidate was referred by a colleague of mine in the system. He got selected and offer letter rolled out.

When he checked the system he realized the referral was not taken and the background system captured it as direct hire.

So my friend is not going to get any referral incentive.

Anyone watch the clock tick away and have this endless dread of the work day starting like me. When I wake up on weekdays I dread looking at the clock. During the day I mentally start counting down how much time is left on a 30 min break, on Sundays it’s a whole different story.
