Short answer : therapy
Longer answer : a big reason people attach their self-worth to their job is because that’s what their parents taught them about their value. You get A’s, great job. You got into THAT university?! Fantastic. You’re making how much money in your career? Amazing!
You should probably consider therapy anyway, I know nothing about your life which means I can’t give you a good strategy that’ll work.

Remember that having a bad day doesn’t mean you have a bad life or that you are a bad person. I actually consciously remind myself of this quite frequently.
A bad day is not a bad life.
I am a good person having a bad day.
It helps out things in perspective.
I love this... “im a good person having a bad day”
Stop looking for meaning at your job. Look at it for what it actually is; just a PART of your day. Not even the best part. For me, the best part is investing time into my relationships. My job allows me to take that investment to another level because I can afford to do things with them that I never could do as a kid. Also, hang around people from different walks of life. If everyone around you is from the same walk of life, chances are you could be unintentionally competing with one another, which forces you to attach your self worth to your job.

I just read into the origins of modern capitalism and realize that in order for it to function, they need workers that are being exploited to “care” and essentially self-discipline. It’s a disgusting, gory history but it really helped me.
Whenever you feel very bad, think about if there’s anyone who benefits or capitalizes off of that feeling.
