It’s Holy Week in the Christian faith, Passover for our Jewish friends. What’s your favorite musical setting of the Passion, a requiem, or telling of the Passover story? Here’s two of my favs. For requiems, I adore the Durufle Requiem, specifically the In Paradisum. I prefer the reduced orchestra version (there is also full orchestra and an organ solo version). My pick for Passover is Handel’s Israel in Egypt. A wonderful oratorio, often overshadowed by his other works.

What are the best Sales books y’all read?

New to Toronto, moved to the west end of town/ just past - in Etobicoke.
