Office phone

Same, everything coming in on my cell phone (calls forwarded from my work phone) show up as the same local phone number, so I am clueless unless I am right at my computer at that moment (except if they are also calling from their cells, then I am totally blind). Also my cell phone voicemail fills up so quickly. Have had some trouble merging calls. Also feel totally helpless if I am trying to juggle conflicting calls with 1 phone- it was doable with 2.

Trying to leave at a reasonable hour and running into that one hard ass partner in the elevator bank. And you owe them a document.

The people

This is actually the only thing I miss about the office (could do without the partners though 😂)

May I know what would be the roles and responsibilities with this designation? Am i supposed to be managing some team/people?? or work within some team on my particulars. Checked with the recruitment team but they seems to either not interested or not sure about the same.

I was reading a post in another group that asked how folks were celebrating Diwali outside of India and 2 people mentioned that their whole street (in the US) exchanged sweets, put up lights, and pitched in for a community firecrackers permit. This had me wondering if this happened in the US for Eid as well in cites where there is a big Muslim population. Also, how do you all celebrate Eid? For folks who are grew up in the west, is there anything you plan on doing differently with your kids?
