I’ve applied for two different positions at Morgan Stanley. The first application was submitted almost two months ago, and the second just a few weeks ago. Both were submitted through Workday, and the status for each still shows “In Progress.” I haven’t received any communication or status updates. Is this normal for Morgan Stanley’s hiring process, and is there anything I can do to follow up?

Working for a senior who is beyond horrible. She talks to you like you’re stupid and makes it sound like you’re absolutely terrible at what you’re doing. She’s made 5 other associates cry during her 5 year career. Got someone fired and made another person quit. It’s known around the office that she can no longer have a female associate, because she talks down to females more than she does males. Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?
