I’ve found that either I’m a strong candidate and I hear back within a week, or I’m not a viable candidate and I never hear back. I applied to a job before thanksgiving and I’m already interviewing.
Probably longer than that, if at all, if these are cold apps and you haven't heard back.

I applied to two in house positions over Thanksgiving and have had 3 interviews at both so far. So I’m not sure that’s true.
Thanks guys! I’ve applied to other places prior to the holidays, and I typically get at the very least, a screening interview, within two weeks of submitting my apps. So I’m wondering if I should expect the same timeline.
For context, big law 7 YOE trying to move in house.

It honestly probably depends on their timing - if you’re a strong candidate and usually hear back, I’d guess you’re right.
