Me too. There’s a Disney+ performance marketing position out of toronto that’s been reposted for almost 6 months, every time it posts there’s like 500+ applications.
I'm seeing the same method done out here in Burbank. Would love to know the reasoning behind it.
Try reaching out to recruiters and hiring manager that are actively hiring on LinkedIn.
Thanks for replying! The problem with that is 98% of the time, there isn't a contact tied to the listings, which turns into an extensive search for who the manager is on LinkedIn. By then, either they're not on the platform or they're not actively using it to warrant emailing them.
If you apply too frequently you might get auto rejected
Which, to some extent, I understand from a screening standpoint. But I also think this is a generally dumb practice.
I haven't necessarily spammed them with resumes, in fact I wait 6 months before I reach out, but just curious of their process.
