I’ve been in my current position for around 4 years and am in a team with 8 people. My manager advised that when they move up, they are preparing to move me up. Given that they said that, would I still have to interview? I haven’t experienced this before.

Recently I have been looking for a job switch. I have recieved an offer from a startup company whose client is hpe. HR round was taken by a HPE manager too. They told they have 25-30 employees in hpe. They have other clients like Deloitte, PWC .
He told after 6-8 months of performance I can be in direct payroll with HPE.
So is it a good idea to join ?
Or shall I look for other jobs ? Please help ..
