Hi fishers! I have offer and signed contract with Deloitte UK and my start day is in the beginning of April. I need skilled worker visa, and we haven’t applied yet for that. Screening and onboarding is in progress. Immigration team doesn’t reply since reached me out 1st time. How much time does it usually needed to go through the whole process? How many days take for visa to be approved since application?Deloitte

If I know I'm overqualified, I'll probably negotiate higher pay regardless. Even if I'm excited about it for other reasons. At the end of the day, I'm working for the paycheck, not the supplementary benefits that come with working.
Fair! I like that approach
Being overqualified for position doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get paid more. Many companies are going to be willing to hire somebody with less qualification simply because they have a budget and they don’t want to pay somebody for all that extra experience. So I’d be wary of trying to negotiate outside of the salary range. You’re applying for the job they’re offering that for the job you qualified for.
Very good points. Really appreciate it
Always ask, and with your experience there is a correlation. Once you've been there a few weeks/months the excitement may fizzle & you may kick yourself that you never asked.
great points. thank you!
You’re overqualified
fair, I do think that can work against you at times
