I’ve been offered a time-limited W2 position, which gives me benefits at a company even though the role only will exist for 2 years. The company offers paid maternity leave, but it is not listed as one of the benefits in my offer letter. Is it normal for not every benefit to be included in the offer letter? Or should I take this to mean that if I fall pregnant during this limited engagement, I would not be eligible for any of the maternity benefits that the company provides its employees?
