I’ve been thinking about starting therapy because I’m completely burned out, but part of me is scared people will think I’m unstable. I know we *say* we care about mental health in this profession, but it still feels taboo. Do you think that stigma is changing, or do you still keep that kind of thing quiet?. I’m worried about perception, especially from partners who still equate therapy with instability or weakness. I’m functioning, but barely and I don’t want to hit a wall before I do something. Is it safe to be open about this yet?

Go to therapy. Your colleagues don’t need to know. Just block off time or go after work hours. Your mental well being is more important than what your coworkers may or may not think of you.

I second this. Also, FWIW, I’m a partner. I attend tele-therapy and it’s a standing appointment for me blocked off on my calendar. It’s helped me so much.

Hello fellow SAP Consultants!
I am SAP HCM consultant having 4.10 years of experience. I feel that this module doesn’t have any growth. My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. Should I be worried about my skillset? Any insights would highly be appreciated. I feel stuck.

I'm a Business Analyst with over 10 years experience, been in the same company for the whole time, Currently, I'm below Average Industry standards by approx. 10% for my (current) role.

I have applied for internal job which is effectively one level above, meaning it would be a promotion.

I got the job, awaiting offer.

I am concerned with fulfilling billable hours requirement. I’m required to hit 2100 hours yearly and I’m at ~1,500 hours and I think I’ll hit 150-180hours this month. What will happen if I don’t hit my targeted amount by the end of my year.

How many billable hours per week is considered at capacity? I’m getting pushback on boundaries I’m setting about additional matters and marketing work from my firm when I’ve been billing 60-75 hours per week for the last 6 weeks, and I’m still behind on my work. I feel like it’s reasonable to not kill myself further to fit in more/turn things around faster at this point, but am I being unreasonable? I expect my workload to remain at this level through the end of the year at least.
