I've had nearly three years experience in client services and financial advisory services in a call center. I generally like my job and am good at it. However, being in introvert, speaking to people on the phones for 7 hours straight every day has become mentally taxing.
What are some other positions in finance that don't require to be client facing all the time? Maybe an analyst role? I'm pretty good with math and communication, but I didn't go to a target school.

I’ve built a reputation I’m proud of @ my company. I’m underpaid for what I do (started as an intern) & recently asked for a market adjustment. Management acknowledged that I’m undervalued & plans to set me up for a promotion. It’d come with more responsibility, which doesn’t align with my goals.

Is it wise for me to remain open to a promotion just for increased pay? Or should I be transparent with management about my goals (& possibly not get the pay I’m asking for)? Or any other tips?

Currently in Private Equity (in India), have an offer to join the PE practice of MBB in SGP. What are the exit options like?
