Internal hiring is truly a priority. Not easy to get in at all. People I’ve seen have good luck came in at fairly junior or senior levels
I had a call with a recruiter for a position and haven't heard anything the application says in consideration for about 2 weeks now, I don't think I will get an interview at all and if I get it someone internally will get hired.
Also every job posting we put up is getting hundreds of applicants. Between the job market, internal downsizing, and us being one of the few companies still heavily leaning into remote work, even getting an interview is rough.
Same experience 🤣
I’ve had the same experience for past few years
You can also try roles at Genentech / Roche - meanwhile.
I’ve completed panels and they’ve cancelled them outright, idk what is going on at Amgen these days
I interviewed for the Senior Manufacturing Technician position at Amgen a couple of weeks ago; however, I have not yet received any feedback or a callback. Today, I noticed a status update said that the candidate has withdrawn their application. And I’m not sure what that means while I have not withdrawn my application.
