Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

I wanna know TOO
That office had a ton of departures. Likely trying to backfill. Apparently a very toxic culture at the moment.
That’s ironic :)

The only jobs I see on LinkedIn are for Expert M and SM roles in the Tech Insights Group. (Expert roles are usually the ones advertised there since the talent pool needed is often not from the standard MBA pool.)
AMA about Tech Insights - they work a lot alongside PEG teams on tech DDs - but this is not generalist consulting roles.
Pay (sub-partner): yes
Pay (partner): you become a partner in a specific expert practice which adds more mysterious toggles to the already black box partner comp. I would assume a lower ceiling than top GC partners, but some generalisations about the Bain expert model don't always apply to TIG
Exit ops (low N): comparable in quality, more tech-flavoured, would assume PE deal team less likely than PEG
(I'm in the CDD side of PEG - TIG is sort of part of PEG but also does some corporate tech strategy cases)
