I've only worked for chain establishments and my curiosity for more mom and pop stores/ boutique stores/ gourmet stores has been chasing after me for a while now. Does anyone have experience with such stores? What would you say the compensation is like compared to your usual grocery stores range?

I have 15+ years of experience in employee communications and TV news, and I live in the Seattle area.
