I've tried to be crystal clear about when I'm available and what my deadlines are, but a colleague can't take the hint and often sends me urgent requests outside of work hours AND expects an immediate response. This is causing me a lot of stress and making it difficult to maintain a healthy WLB. What's a good way to firmly but professionally reinforce my boundaries and manage expectations without hurting our working relationship?

Hi fellow PMs, Question for the group: has anyone here made the switch from being a creative agency PM to a digital producer or digital agency PM? I.e. going from managing creative projects like TV to managing website builds/UX projects. If so, what was the transition like and what helped you get your bearings in the new environment? 1) Let’s say you’re a recent undergrad candidate with no internships on your resume. What’s the deciding factor that you’re qualified for Advisory vs Tax vs Audit? Is it school, gpa, etc.?

2) Why can’t you switch from Tax to another SL without having to pull strings? I understand that there’s a difference in tax vs book experience but why does the Accounting field gatekeep other SLs? It’s not like we’re incapable of learning other areas.
