I am assuming this overly positive post with good advice means you have recently found new employment? I hope so because I know the job market is tough especially for the tech industry so it’s good to hear some good news.

like

Challenging for sure! I’ve been trying to take the time in between and focus on things I can be doing instead of things out of my control. Working on my skills and resume has been helpful to me, just to feel like I am doing something productive, still trying though and staying positive goes a long way.

Is it just me or do 90% of the jobs being laid off by big tech sound made up? Many job descriptions with multiple bullet points that all kinda revolve around the same idea. One of my buddies works for a big IT company and literally just sits on meetings all day. No one really contributing to anything other than agreeing to whatever the speaker is saying. Are these kind of jobs finally being exposed? Six figure employees getting paid to sit and bounce ideas off each other?
