I have an offer as Technical Manager in Mindtree India . I have about 12 years of relevant experience in Java application development and mentoring and team leading. They said it is an onsite role with Mindtree Germany ( already done with client interview). My India salary is decent as per Indian market standards.Any idea how much will they offer me as Germany salary for the onsite role? Is it the same like other MNCs - TCS , Infosys, HCL,Wipro etc? Or how much I can ask? Mindtree

Hi, I have been approached by GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) for network expertise paid consultation. Wanted to check with this group if anyone has any experience of how is it like working as network expert? Also how does it work wrt to your employer, do you need to discuss this with employer to get any clearance to engage with them? Also how does it work from tax perspective, do you have to set-up separate company and hence tax code? Would appreciate inputs.

You don't have to find a company where you live. So many companies in tech are open to remote. Or since you're single etc., maybe a change of scenery is what you need. Move and start a new adventure. Either way, since your job is fine there is no rush. Maybe this 110 offer isn't enough. Just keep applying places to keep your interview skills fresh and see what's out there. Maybe something will come along in a few months or maybe it'll be a few years. I think you'll know when something feels right.
I went back to my old company and gave up 100k raise. Just wasnt feeling it at the new company and 200k base is enough to get by for now.
Instead now I feel energized and super motivated to keep working on a startup idea and take side gigs.
