Joined as Advanced Analyst 3 in Nov 2025. Promotion/progression to Senior 1 was discussed but manager and counselor denied it due to short tenure.

Will I still be eligible for appraisal/hike this cycle? Also, can I still be considered for future promotion/progression despite the denial this time?

Would appreciate insights from anyone with similar experience.

Does getting snapshot at partially next level in 4 perimeter and next level in 1 perimeter will be enough to get promotion? I have received similar kind of 5 snapshot. ( some cases next grade in 2 perimeter)

Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. Based on some research around Boston and my role in the company, I feel 165k plus 10-15% bonus is fair. Nonetheless, first time going through something like this and asking for thoughts and comments. I'm in finance/tech FPA, looking to go back to the defense industry for a 25% increase in TC. But wanted to see if I should leverage the new salary with current company to see if they'll match.
