If you interview with a carrier but didn’t get the position, would you recommend applying again and if so how long should you wait to apply?

OK folks, I'm kind of pissed. I interviewed with a dream company, made it to 6 interviews (all the way up to VP). Weeks later the recruiting manager shares they went with someone internally, no feedback. Today I see the same position being promoted. Do I pursue the same role or take this as a sign that I wasnt a good fit after all and let it go?

However i am getting an onsite opportunity In Denmark, what should be my expected ctc there? Considering the country is much expensive. Tell me if this is selfish or not. I adore my family, but since they're doing a very lowkey Christmas situation this year, I really would rather take a weeks vacation on my own. Obviously the holidays are about spending time with those you love, but I'm tired! And I see my entire family at least once a month for a group dinner. Am I a bad daughter/sister if I choose vacation this one time?

I was paid $16/hr. even with my Bachelors & Masters. 2 yrs later took a position as a Fund Acct. (I know, right). I did the change because of compensation and no OT. Had to get my CPA, now almost done. I don't like Fund Accounting but I am getting paid well. Considering going back to Tax but my pay cut will be $30K. Am I stuck in Fund Acct forever?

Most likely getting fired, tips on how to find a job ASAP? I made a pretty big mistake that required supplemental filings with government offices to fix (missed some items when reviewing/comparing long lists of things across 20-30 years). It’s fixable and the client isn’t really getting hurt by this (worst case signing gets delayed), but my anxiety is telling me to prepare for the worst. Can I ask for extra time at the firm to find a new job (so I wasn’t “fired”)? Or should I go for severance?
