The plug you have from your vehicle is just a normal 110v plug for a normal outlet.
Def a 220… a buddy of mine managed to wire a 220 line to a conventional outlet for his pool pump… and let me tell you… when I plugged a shop vac into it once that thing ran like nobodies business… till it start shooting flames out of the top and burned up.
I’d just go to Home Depot, buy a 220 dryer cord, cut the end off the adapter that came with your car, splice it together with some masking tape, and give er a go!
That's a 220v outlet. You're holding a 120v adapter
As a side note how do you like the car?

That’s definitely 220v we others have said. Read your owners manual. The inverted in the car might only accept 120v and you need an adapter to go from 220V to the car. Can you post a pic of what came with the car?

Mmmm… hot thumb right thurr.
Just buy one of those level 2 chargers with the right NEMA 6-50 plug and J1772 connector off Amazon. Blink and Juicebox are fancier ones, there's some cheaper $2-300 ones too.
We have the same xc90, charger can plug in to any ol wall port.
Sounds like you need to hire an electrician
