It’s fine No issues just do it
Had COVID in January, moderate symptoms. Got J&J in April, felt pretty bad for a day then was all good. Haven’t had COVID again (that I’m aware of)
Thanks!
Given the option wouldn’t you want to go with one of the two shot options that offers stronger protection?
Chief
OP seems to be confusing studies indicating high efficacy of one shot after having covid as a recommendation that only one shot should be administered for these people
I got JnJ 7 mths after having Covid and for 36 hrs it was absolutely awful - 100 times worse than covid. Same thing happened with my husband when he got the 2nd dose of pfizer. A nurse friend has been recommending to my family to take theraflu before their shot to help manage side effects and it seemed to work for my dad who also had antibodies, just felt fatigued.
Wife had it for the same reason and is fine
No issues from me, maybe increased fatigue for a few weeks? But my mom had an allergic rxn and hives up / down her legs + arms from J&J
I had the exact same reaction a couple days after taking the shot. 36 yo male

I just got a mild headache the following day. Could’ve been coincidental though, I get them pretty regularly anyway
Had no issues from J&J, my hairdresser dude was achy and had some trouble lifting that arm to do blowouts the next couple of days.
No issues for me. No pain, symptoms, or fatigue. One and done.
This was me, had the vid and got jj. tbh probably the worst vaccine experience I’ve ever had. My balls were hot to the touch from whole body fever. sorry if that’s tmi
This is not how one conducts vaccine research fyi
I do think there is value in anecdotal data.
Grew an extra head
All the cool people get Pfizer I heard
If you’re a healthy person then you’re probably fine w/ J&J but if you have any ailments that would make you high risk you should probably just get Moderna. Had a friend who got Covid but had the j&j shot. He was a smoker and not in the best health so when he got Covid, he got the worst of the symptoms. Luckily got the monoclonal antibodies and was told after to redo the vaccine but to get moderna. I think it’s better to get 2 just in case if it gives you better protection
