I know Liver King is out there but my roommate has been living by his “9 ancestral tenets” and it basically changed his life. Anyone else that follows something similar seen benefits? Seems like he’s rooted on well being and staying connected with the world around you. Even if you think he’s weird his YouTube video is well put together.

You'll be alright 👍🏼
I got laid off for performance after 8 months out of college, was the worst time of my life but now I'm killing it and actually am grateful af to the partner who laid me off
Completely unrelated to OP's situation, but K1's "poor performance is due to weak leadership" is one of the dumbest platitudes I've ever heard.
Sorry OP. Try not panicking. Accenture isn't the only firm in the world.
Hard to imagine why OP would get laid off and not being Performance related
You'll be ok. Get that resume polished up and send it out. Figure out where your performance e weaknesses are, what your strengths are, what differences you can make. Next job make an emergency fund try to safe 6 months of living expenses so if you're ever in this spot again you won't be as panicked.
Try to get your loans forgiven there is a government program out now. Check out www.nslds.ed.gov to see if you qualify.
Yeah at the Senior Analyst level, I tend to give the benefit of the doubt. Considering how deep our strat analyst bench is, OP could've just had one bad project out of less than a handful and just had bad timing.
K3, you can't eliminate the risk of bad shit happening. But, you can prepare for when it inevitably happens. (Insurance)
1. Personal

• 6-9 months expenses saved
• grow / acquire quality assets
2. Professional
a. Update resume / cover
• identify and develop technical skills
• identify and develop relationship skills
b. Network and grow relationships
c. Stay informed of current industry trends
We all endure hardship, but being prepared makes us resilient.
In the old days us baby boomers would get a part time job or two. Try uber or delivering pizzas. Hard work never hurt anyone.
@a7 don't want to come off as snobby or smug. But I don't think it works like that anymore. My dad put himself through his masters by working at a restaurant washing dishes. But that wouldn't work anymore because tuition grew at a much faster rate than salaries. I have over $160,000 of student loans (attended a top-tier MBA), and a minimum wage job wouldn't cover my current expenses and the loan payments. Maybe @op has less loans, but in my case, I'd be stretched reeeeally thin.
@k3 you can't. People get laid off right after they buy cars, houses. People get laid off right after they have a kid, or when their spouses have cancer. Its life and its just happens.
I'm not saying it's a replacement job, I'm saying go make some cash not excuses.
What DTE and specialty. Post on here to get referrals
@d6 great advice. I'm taking notes😂
You will be fine. Been there. Take some time and talk to a lot of people
Mmmmm BA1 maybe you can put up a burner we can all send our resumes too
Sorry to hear about this OP definitely follow advice of D1 and KPMG1 said. Make looking for a new job your job.
Referrals would be helpful and much appreciated.
Which vertical?
Holy they're making cuts already for strategy analysts? I'm sorry OP, best of luck. Have you been reached out to by recruiters in the past? I know that I've been getting a lot of interest from boutique firms
OP - What group were you part of? I can refer you at EY. Send your resume to fishbowl.referral@gmail.com.
