If you have to work with CD2, then I would reconsider.
It's "whose" not "who's".
You're a copywriter for crissakes

It’s Droga isn’t it
Try and figure out why, then ask them questions related to it.
Yup, what SAD said. Trust your gut but figure out what’s giving you that feeling. Maybe it’s those cute little 🦋🦋, maybe it’s needing some clarification
Gonna disagree. It shouldn’t feel like home - that’s why you’re leaving. I left my home agency and went to a place that terrified me and it’s he best career choice I’ve made. Do it if you love the work and get along with your direct team, even if it scares you and makes you uncomfortable
Trust your gut. Always.
You can always get a gut transplant before the next round of interviews and see if the new one feels similarly.
If you had no chemistry whatsoever with your future potential boss that’s one thing, but it’s a business, not camp. Home feelings come or don’t after you’ve been there for a bit, not after a single interview.
Once I actually asked permission to sit in an agency's cafeteria for a few hours before deciding. Yes cafeteria! They used to have those. But some still have lobbies, hang out spots... Gave me time to see what it really felt like.
Can you elaborate on what didn’t feel right? Sometimes change just feels wrong. But that doesn’t mean it ain’t right
OP how many times have you met with them? If it doesn’t feel good multiple times then follow your gut. But don’t base it on one meeting.
Trust your gut!!!!! Bad things happen when you don’t.
Listen to the paycheck
Sounds like you didn't manage your own expectations and reality didn't match whatever idea you had built up in your head? Not sure how it would feel like home from one interview and you never having worked there and not having any work friends to give you that feeling which comes over time. Make sure you click with the people you interview with, specifically the person who'd be your direct boss. The physical environment may take getting used to, too. Those things take time.
Trust your gut the 2nd time. Not the first.
Ask friends or friends of friend who work/worked there your specific questions. And I applaud CD2 for having the audacity to — gasp— suggest that an alleged copywriter know basic f’n English grammar. Not a lot to ask.
This thread is full of advice. I would do everything everyone recommends. To summarize, go with you gut, but really go back and probe. Also, just find happiness wherever you go. Simps.
If it doesn’t feel right, it probably didn’t go that well.
It didn’t feel comfortable. I didn’t feel at home.
