I've noticed a lot of people in public accounting seemed to have grown up with money, or at least without financial burdens based on the sheer number of people who have favorite vacation spots. Mine was my room since we could never afford to go anywhere.
I’ve noticed this too
I also had to work for everything I have but I don’t hate on people that come from wealth. I’d take a handout from my parents if they were rich
Are you saying people who have wealthy parents don’t work as hard as you? Any evidence for this claim?
Actually, people shouldn’t have to “move along” when someone says (or implies) that people who come from money don’t work as hard. That is absolute BS. Especially in public accounting where everyone has to work hard, and you aren’t working hard simply to sirvuve here.
Actually, accounting was traditionally a first generation white collar job, most people that started 20-30 years ago came from blue collar families and went to state/mid level schools. No one graduates Ivy League with an accounting degree.
Meee

Same for me
