I currently have the CSP card (have for just over a year). I’m looking to get another CC to get a signup bonus but not sure which one to get. What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? I started working as a consultant with EY 8 months ago. Even though I'm content and learning a lot there, I think there are places where I might easily earn more money. I received a job offer last week from Alvarez & Marsal to work as a consultant at the Transaction Advisory Department (financial due diligence team), where I will be paid more fairly (salary & bonus). Should I accept it? Or would leaving EY that early not be wise?

Hi Fishes.. 6 yoe in SAP SD, i got 2 offers one from Wipro14 lpa role tech lead and other from Infosys for 16lpa role consultant.. i feel in Wipro the role is good but package is very less and in Infosys the role less for my experience and package can also be revised.. what can i do.. need your valuable inputs if i can negotiate with anyone of the company or which i can choose.. So happy to finally be posting with my new title! I’ve been looking to get into a Product department since early 2020. In my case resilience was key in the face of constant, daily rejections. Also I’m in my 40s so don’t lose hope! It’s never too late to pivot your career.

I took a product management course this year and it felt really good and different from the day to day of Talent Acquisition but I couldn’t help but wonder if it was the wrong time for this considering the state of tech. I got laid off due to economic impact recently and would appreciate any tips on how best to pivot careers to product as I am beginning to think that the only sustainable path for a recruiter is to start a business of your own.

All that said, I'm looking for some words of wisdom on how to pivot to sales ops, Rev ops, or GTM strategy. The latter probably being my preference.

So I have just left my Consultant role in a finance company to move to a Account Executive role at a ftse250 tech company. All good…unfortunately today i received a letter from my old company saying im due to repay them £4.4k in training costs and guaranteed commission etc. How should I respond?

I am possibly going into a cyber security role where I would be leading internal and external content. Thing is, my career has mainly been in fashion which I am trying to move away from, to get into the tech space. This is a great opportunity that will definitely teach me a lot and help get me further into tech. Problem: I’m scared. I’m scared I won’t enjoy it, scared I’ll be bored!!!, scared I’ll fail, scared I’d be making a mistake. Any advice? Has anyone pivoted like this? I want to be open.
