Ladies, thank you so much for going through all this trouble to look so good. Our world would be a sad place without ya.
Tons of moisturizer and neosporin to heal it.
You need to let it heal. BUT if you need a quick fix you could get one of those cold sore patches to absorb the liquid and blend that with makeup. OR use toothpaste to dry out the wound (this is not good for your skin) and then apply makeup. I use toothpaste method.
Just roll with it. I'm a guy and I've done interviews and client meetings with black eyes and once a missing tooth.
For it to heal faster and not leave a mark, apply Vitamin E oil on it every night before you go to bed. Got rid of many marks thanks to Vit E oil :)
Agree with D2 I've learnt so much from y'all! I'm sure you all look gorgeous with or without all this effort!
Is no one going to ask OP what happened? Why do you have a dime sized scab!?!
If you have any green concealer, use that to neutralise the red, then liquid foundation and powder. It's not going to completely disappear but will make it less obvious
Apply green primer to reduce the redness. Then apply concealer and top it with powder.
At night, if you put some neosporin on it with a bandaid on top (loose not tight), it should help the healing process. Good luck 🙏🏼
Pick it off and throw some gauze on it
OP agree with the others that you should let it heal. If it came from a cyst there's a really good chance it could be/become infected. Vitamin E, Neosporin, etc. are all very good choices. Eventually the scab will flake off and you'll have a scar. If you moisturize the scar, it'll eventually fade. But you can then cover it up easier with makeup. PS Urban Decay All-nighter makes all my makeup stay! Good luck 😘
Why do you have a huge scab on your face?
.....^
That's what I did yesterday, but by mid day my makeup was gone.
You need to put primer on before anything otherwise it will come off; Hourglass' veil primer is awesome. I also use white powder as it can sometimes look less cakey but skin colored will give you the coverage you need for the scab. Make sure you're using both liquid and powder to set it.
I'm embarrassed because I have more advice, clearly this is a problem for me :( Make sure to keep a full set of wet makeup and a full set of dry/powder makeup. Some blemishes will look better with dry makeup on because it doesn't "cling" right on the damaged skin.
Don't put makeup on it. It will just look like a scab with makeup on it. Keep it moisturized so that it heals faster
Aquaphor heals everything-slather it on at night
Maybe she had a freckle removed who knows. None of my biz. Having a face scab is traumatizing enough!
