Overrated! If you want to invest in skincare go medical grade - skinbetter is my favorite but skinceuticals, ZO and PCA are also great. With tatcha you are just paying for marketing.
I second investing in medical grade skincare. I’ve been on ZO for the last few months and also get a facial every month and am really loving my skin.

I like tatcha, but I think it’s overpriced honestly. Like if you wanna spend the money, go ahead. But it’s not necessarily better quality for the price. Check out Korean brands. Lots of good stuff for decent prices.
Nothing is better in helping with slowing down aging as prescription grade tretinoin (retinoid) and daily sunscreen. There are plenty of good online dermatology startups that will give you prescription for tretinoin. Personally, I prefer K and J beauty for my serums, sunscreens and moisturizers. In my opinion, K beauty has a wide range of excellent moisturizers that are reasonably priced, way more effective than Tatcha, and have much more interesting ingredient list. I also don’t like fragrance in my skincare, so 99% of brands that sell at Sephora don’t work for me.
Great information, thank you!
I liked it. I don’t really know how much it did by way of slowing signs of aging, but it was a nice texture, moisturizing, and I felt like it was absorbed into the skin well. I think insofar as I had any fine lines as a result of skin dehydration (as opposed to age), it did a good job smoothing it out.
Also invest in the Dr Dennis gross led light mask it is my favorite product in the world.
I have super sensitive skin & I was unimpressed by the tatcha moisturizers. I got a free sample from Sephora and it really irritated my skin. I use the cereve moisturizing cream & prescription tretinoin & that combo has done wonders for my skin.
I haven’t tried it. But every time I get a facial, or go to a new derm, I ask about which skincare they recommend. The overwhelming majority has said that Skinceuticals is the best, most effective brand and worth the money.

I didn’t like tatcha moisturizer, I felt like it sort of sat on the surface of my skin and didn’t absorb. I got a great facial and was recommended a couple products from Dr. Dennis Gross and my skin has been enjoying that.
Try Loccitane!
I like it! I have the moisturizer, dewy serum and face wash and I use them all everyday. Its made my skin really soft and plump. If you want to start with one product, I would say use the moisturizer first. Sephora has the trial size if you want to try that first
Tatcha the dewy skin cream! I had someone come up to me and said that I have really nice skin and I had done the three step routine. I wasn’t wearing any makeup and that was the first time someone said that to me

I did not like there moisturizer, overpriced for a product that I saw no difference in. Summer Fridays is significantly better and more reasonably priced their moisturizer (and pretty much all their products) are great and I’ve seen a difference in my skin—supplement with bi-monthly facials
I have sensitive skin and tried their water gel. It’s fine but there are others I like better for oil-free moisturizer. I’m a slave to Philosophy Take A Deep Breath Oil Free Oxygenating Gel Cream — gentle but so moisturizing. Neutrogena water gel is also good, maybe a bit lighter, good for summer or a midday refresh. Both are way cheaper than Tatcha.
Clinique 72 hour moisturizer is my go-to!
Yea nothing at Sephora is going to be top quality, IMO. I was an esthetician before law school, go with the good stuff like Epicuren
Tatcha did nothing for me, but it didn’t make me break out either.
Tatcha dewy skin moisturizer is the best ever! My skin LOVES it! It doesn’t help with deep wrinkles though. For that use the Essence. It works! Gueralin is also awesome.
I like Tatcha, but retinol/tretinoin and daily sunblock are a million times more important than the brand of moisturizer you use. As well as hydration/sleep. Avoid smoking and excessive drinking.
