I'm very grateful to work from home so when I'm feeling tense, I will just hang out with my dogs for a few minutes. They help me emotionally regulate and reset for the next challenge.
I do a lot of self-care, and weekly therapy. Those are the two things that help me keep my head on straight. You definitely have to protect your peace and take care of you.

I feel this deeply. Some weeks HR becomes the emotional shock absorber for the entire organisation. Holding space for everyone else while still delivering operational work can be exhausting if there is no support for the HR team itself.
Quick walks really help. Or five minutes outside with focused breathing
Rising Star
I have the flexibility to work from home a couple of days a week / when it suits me and I find that is great. Obviously that’s what works for me but if it’s something your employer would allow it’s worth a try!
