I worked directly with LEK on a project.
LEK slides were overly detailed and did not highlight the main message. BCG partners thought the LEK manager for the first phase was totally incompetent. The second phase LEK manager was very good and they thought about poaching her.
So it seems LEK is capable of developing talent.
But the actual experience is no different, since we were literally working on the same project.
I would say go to Tech
MBBs are very different. In general, Bain will be almost exactly the same, just better staffed teams, bigger companies, etc. BCG and McKinsey, as I understand it, will have more variety, and will be more operational.
That said, regardless of the firm, theyâre probably hiring you because they want your help with the PE (CDD) projects. Which will all be run very similarly.
Depends what level you are. MBB analysts get more client interaction and are expected to own their module and material. There is a lot less focus on detailed slides, but just knowing the process and content (and being able to answer the details)
