Check your B12 levels too. But as we age the hair thins out which is normal. You can use castor oil which helps too.

It might be a good idea to get your thyroid and hormones checked if you haven’t! As we age our thyroid doesn’t have the kick it once did. I have a genetic thyroid disorder and when my meds aren’t doing it for me one of the symptoms is my hair.
Also, check out horsetail. It’s got silica in it, which is good for hair and nails. Zinc doesn’t hurt, either, I believe zinc picolinate is considered the best form of it.
For sure, regular doctors (even endocrinologists) don’t seem to understand shit about the thyroid and general endocrine system.
And if something is wrong but your labs are all “within range,” go find another opinion. You can be barely within range at either end and they’ll still try to tell you everything is fine. You know your body better than they do, you’re the one who lives in it!

Go to a derm and see if they’ll put you on spirinolactone. It blocks the DHT (hormone) that commonly causes female pattern baldness.
Doctors will prescribe a RX. It’s all they are trained to do. You need to find the source of the issue. Recommend a natural integrative doctor who will use blood work to help determine what supplements you actually need.
