Long shot but does anyone know a mechanic who is willing to do a visual check on a car? It’s a 2010 Audi A4 2.0T and the engine shakes when I start it up. Afraid to drive it to the shop, and would really appreciate a quick check

RepairSmith will come to your home (or wherever the car is parked) and check it out. I think they charge $25 for a service call. I used them when my dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree and the car wouldn’t start. They did a great job at a reasonable price. Have used them several times since. For reference, my car is a 2007 Lexus and the mechanic who came out had done some research prior to arriving based on the description I provided and was able to fix multiple issues quickly.

I wonder if you could take a video and then call a mechanic and share the video?

Probably needs new motor mounts. If no lights are on on the dash and it doesn’t make super loud noises you should be fine to drive it

Thank you all! The check engine light is on, but will check out Repairsmith

This is my first job in a large corporate company, and I’m trying to gauge how long it normally takes to move from entry level to another internal position in the insurance industry. I have been applying internally for a year now and I am wondering if this is normal or if my company is just slow? I am a top performer, with great metrics, and I have some wonderful connections I’ve made who support me. I just can’t seem to move up. How long did it take you to move up? How many tries did it take?

Hello ,
My sister is looking for a job .She is well trained in Testing and SQL.
She is technically very good.
Could you please help if you have any references.

We are exploring having a third party come in and assess our I&D efforts across our company. We have many locations across North America. Is anyone aware of an entity who does this? We have found questionnaires through target organizations and have done anonymous employee surveys but are hoping to find someone who can do an assessment for gender, minorities, disabilities, 2SLGBTQ+, etc. and provide feedback on the actual employee experience and where we may have blind spots.

What can I do outside the office to boost my resume and be a substantially more attractive candidate for top consulting firms in ~12 months time. Working in disputes and valuation role but want to go into management consulting next year (post MBA role).
