Is anyone interested in subleasing a 2bd/br apartment (unfurnished) in South Austin May-August? It’s right next to Lady bird lake, pet/handicap friendly. $1903 a month.

I rented a house that had been vacant for a bit & the prior tenant didn’t do a thorough job cleaning up. Agent indicated the owner would be open to having the house cleaned but I would need to have the house professionally cleaned when I moved out (that was fine w me). I just received the bill from the owner for $250, which is super annoying bc there was no expectation communicated that I would foot the bill for this, more so bc the cleaner did a LOUSY job. Moving to Austin end of this year, with a new baby.

With ~$500k HHI and almost no debt, in which neighborhood can we practically afford a house? We do outdoorsy stuff (mtb biking, kayaking etc.) and also have a dog that likes to run.
