Long time admin on the West Coast. Earlier this week I accepted a new job offer. I’m really going to miss all my peers but I feel like there is no room for me to grow :(

Does anyone feel burned out from healthcare from this past year? I straddle tech trans and do procurement/manage the research department of a health system. Is it just me or do health systems compensate less? If I'm going to have to work long hours - I might as well get paid more going the private sector/tech company route.

I have got offer from Disney as Cloud solutions Architect and as DevOps engineer 3 in Western Digital(which was Earlier SANDISK).

Is it a good option to switch to any of these companies?

Currently a L7 at AWS, going for L8. Been offered a VP position at Capgemini. Ignoring the financials, what reasons / factors would you consider important when making a decision. FYI, I am in a Consumer Goods specialist space and think that in the domain I work in, AWS is definitely a tech leader.

I studied finance in undergrad and had a couple of internal audit internships. I only started a few month ago but I never saw myself doing IT Audit and I don’t like it thus far! WFH Vs WF Office Vs Hybrid, Which one should you take?
If you are fresher, go for a WF Office setup. You will learn things beyond your work. In the initial phase of of your career, one needs to focus more on learning than on comfort. The interactions at office, meeting with collegues, conversations at the cafeteria, sense of responsibilty, the need to walk up on time to reach office etc will shape you for better.

Once you have a work experience of few year then any setup is fine. Go for WFH.
