Hello, does anyone work as an auto underwriter for insurance? I recently got accepted for an internal job position and was offered $50k. I’m currently a claim processor making $20/hour so the offer is more than what i’m making but is low in comparison to the average salary for an auto underwriter in AZ (which is around $58k). I believe because the company knows how much i’m making they lowballed me. Any tips on how to navigate the salary negotiation and can u share ur salary ?

Salaries would be comparable (Lilly would most likely be a little more with bonuses), but if the culture sucks, I’d hate to burn a bridge with Envigo.

I’m a recent grad & began my first career as a marketing coordinator. It’s been quite frustrating to say the least. The company doesn’t understand the purpose of marketing, & recently hopped into the digital world - many of which don’t find it valuable.
