Looking for flights out of ATL to the carribeans for the week of Thanksgiving and everything is so expensive. Delta is almost $1,000 for any location. Has this been always the case or related to covid? I am wondering if I should wait and see if the price drops.

Thanksgiving is always absurdly expensive, the airlines know people have to travel on a set number of days. I don’t go home anymore because of it. That said, $1k seems higher than it should be even for thanksgiving

They know we all have a pent up travel Jones and they lost their a$$ last year. Expect fees and surcharges to make a raging come back as well

November through April is high season for the caribbean

Your yearly reminder that if you’d bought the DJIA in 1929 you didn’t become profitable in real terms until 1955. It wasn’t just WW2. If you’d bought the DJIA at the beginning of 1966 you lost almost 75% to inflation over two decades and didn’t recover in real terms until 1995. You’d have made nothing between JFK’s death and Clinton’s second term. We are in a particularly weird period of “stonks only go up” but remember those 8% returns over the long run mask generation-defining risks.

Thoughts on Razorfish Health NYC? Or switching to health in general? I'm moving to NYC and looking to switch jobs (currently working remote for a Chicago agency). RFH just reached out about an opportunity. My one hang up is switching over to health. I've worked for 5 years on a brand I legally can't put in my book; I feel like health may be equally stunting to my portfolio. I went from portfolio school to my current job.
