Looking for insight into dealing with a male colleague who is rude and disrespectful in meetings. It's to the point where I am so tired of being dismissed and cut off that I rarely contribute unless called upon. Fortunately my interactions are limited to twice a week but I find when they do occur I dread them in advance and ruminate about them for days. My company issues top of the line 16” MBP’s for engineers and lower end 13” MBP’s for all others. I work in analytics/ data science and struggle with the fact that my computer can only run 1 external display! No one else on my team cares. How can I navigate requesting a more expensive computer without annoying my leadership? I already own an upgraded MBP as my personal - can I offer to swap my work and personal machines?

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?

I have accepted an offer for the role of Director of Data Science & Analytics and I'll be working with old colleagues. I am very excited. I haven't given notice yet because I am waiting for the background check to complete, but my boss just asked me about traveling to a meeting in November. I start at the new job Oct 25. Two years ago got fired. Reason, Boss was unhappy beacuse of my direct contact with CEO also with other higher level people. So he took my CCTV footage to show his bosses and hr that i always roming around which is true beacuse i finish my work way faster then others. I am about to leave my current organization and I have several thousand in outstanding commission owed to me. I started working for a new law firm, much larger than the firm I was working for previously. The main attorney that I work under had noticed some mistakes I was making (I am a NY paralegal who took this position with the understanding that they’d be teaching me NJ and NYC real estate). Anyways, the attorney decided to tell the HR manager about the mistakes I had been making. Rather than HR discussing with me, the manager told my dramatic coworker to tell me..how should I handle this? Very hurt!

I have been assigned to project in tcs. I will be introduced to client only when I complete certain certification. I have been asked to complete it within a week. I am trying my best and giving 4-5 hrs daily to prepare.
