I'm sorry to hear that. It can be incredibly frustrating when someone undermines your worth. I've been in a similar situation where a senior constantly belittled my input, disregarded my advice, and acted as though I lacked knowledge. There was a moment when I decided to address it directly. I told them, 'If you don't value my input, then perhaps you shouldn't seek my assistance. I have valuable insights to offer, and I won't collaborate with someone who doesn't recognize that.' It was a firm message, but sometimes people need direct feedback to understand the impact of their actions. Fortunately, in my case, it led to an apology and a recognition of their behavior. Communication is key in resolving such issues
Absolutely, I completely agree. Regardless of someone's position or age, it's imperative to maintain professionalism and treat everyone with respect. Each individual deserves to be treated with dignity and courtesy, regardless of any factors. Disrespect has no place in any interaction or environment.
