Can’t speak for Ant but I’ve worked at more than one company that used MUI and react. A lot of companies use it in their customer/end user facing apps and websites (i.e. fedex, doordash, nyt, etc.,) so designers and devs tend to follow the patterns just by way of seeing it so much.
One con might be that because so many companies use it, your UI may end up looking somewhat generic.
It’s great from a usability stand point tho. Since it’s so common, you don’t have to worry as much about whether people will recognize that a card is clickable or get confused by the meaning of certain icons.
