Does your firm know you’re looking to outsource your returns?
I'm in indsutry and this is new 😅
Man, this is all over the place. I’d honestly put out an RFP especially given the scope and data requirements. Agree that with that volume, outsourcing makes sense, but a question of the 1000 properties are just all over the US requiring a fixed ledger or a combination of retail and manufacturing.
We outsource ours to local firms depending on the locality, but we have limited sites. Data is all standardized and evaluations on assets are done every two years.
I personally am not a fan of Ryan. For property tax, I’d cast a wider net for providers.
Again, with 1000 properties, I assume it’s all retail. A provider should just pull the ledger and plug it into their software. One thing to consider is how much they automate. What’s your threshold for review? How much hand holding do you need to do. Sometimes if it’s too much hand holding, you just get irked and end up doing it yourself.
If you are issuing an RFP, I would also be interested in discussing with you. Thanks
If you are thinking of an RFP I'd be interested. Chat me if you are able to.
In my experience the best are the ones who only get paid if they successfully save you money. Usually a % of total savings. Keeps incentives aligned
