Loving the look of this Tag Carrera. Worth the buy?

Worth it if you love it and don’t pay MSRP

I liked these a lot when I first saw them, and I love the vibe of a sport TH chrono, but when I tried it on I wouldn’t get over how wide the bracelet is and it ruined it for me a bit. I have the older Carrera cal.5 (3 hander) and the bracelet on that one is way nicer than what they have here. So mixed feelings. The movement is also a bit of meh. I love the dial tho. Def do not pay full price on these, but if I saw someone in the wild with this on I’d be pretty psyched for them

Where do you live? If there’s a Tag Heuer authorized dealer nearby you should go try one on. And definitely look for at least 20% off.

Also, it’s a nice looking watch and I remember really wanting one of these Carreras back in the day.

Im in Chicago, so I’ll try to find a store. Also visiting Switzerland for a few weeks in June so I plan to look there as well.

I’ll keep the discount in mind and look at a couple places. Any other recommendations are welcome!

Can you pls share your thoughts on this?

Given all the recent buzz about expected large raises around the big 4, I’d like to level set on the average salary for a 4th/5th year female senior manager in federal tax ( credits & methods group) in the Midwest - Chicago/Minneapolis/Detroit market. Current expectations set at 140-160k. Reasonable?

My in-laws used to own a jewelry store, and they had this Omega quartz watch in their storage. I can understand why this wasn’t sold during their clearance sale lol. I had no idea Omega made stuff like this in 1987! I guess they couldn’t help it after the rise of quartz watches in the 70s to 80s. I doubt they’re worth anything even to this day. I see them on eBay for $700-1200, so who knows…
