LPT Chicago: Take a couple stops on the blue line from ORD then Uber to your destination to avoid the traffic

I did this when I lived in Chicago. Blue line Addison stop to Lakeview saved me at least 30 minutes every week. Sometimes more depending on weather

likehelpful

Time spent getting to train, waiting for it, riding it, leaving the station, and waiting for the Uber would negate most of the benefit.

like

At which stop do you get off to call your uber?

Oooor just take the blue line all the way downtown. I fly into Midway and am at my destination forty minutes after I get off the plane. Destinations in the loop

Step 1: Order Uber
Step 2: Sit in Uber and fuck around on phone
Step 3: Arrive at destination

Anything else is excessive

Take the airport train to international terminal there's never a line and plenty of cabs waiting, it's free less hassle and less time consuming

I only bring in a little over $2,600 a month. After paying all my expenses, I get to put away $500 a month in savings but don’t have much wiggle room for anything else, including going out money.

I’m very privileged to have a significant inheritance and zero debt of any kind. I really wonder how my peers who have student loans, car payments, and even children manage to pay their bills and live so comfortably. Please share if this is you!

My district has finally gone 1-to-1. Is there a good app or website that I could use to have students submit answers anonymously while going over problems in class? I did this last week using Kahoot to go over a state testing review packet. It was great because I could see how many got the right answer and move on if no one missed the question. However, I would like to do it without having to create something in advance. I hope this doesn't sound confusing.
