McKinsey recruiter reached out to schedule an initial phone interview yesterday morning and I replied the same day near 4:30pm. They were wanting to talk sometime this Thursday or Friday but I didn’t get any response today. Should I follow up tomorrow morning or expect to be called during my available times?

If you interested in the job, you can. Unless they are very unprofessional and don’t respect your time, they should confirm a time a lot

Its not like a girl shared her number and you need to stay next to phone to expect the call any time

A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.
