Most RFIs are written to look thorough, not to create clarity. They contain hundreds of questions, many copied from old templates, asking vendors everything except the most important thing: what problem are we really trying to solve? When RFIs focus on features instead of risks, vendors respond with marketing, not insight. A good RFI is short, focused, and brutally honest about uncertainty. Its purpose is not comparison — it’s self-diagnosis.

Is your firm treating 12/26 and 12/27 as firm holiday since the 24th and the 25th are during the weekend this year? My wife often calls me by 5:45/6 to ask where I am if I’m not headed home yet. Sometimes she’s stressed with kids/dogs/dinner and really wants me home. This really throws off my concentration because it makes me feel rushed. Like many practices sometimes I’m out at 5:30, other times it’s much later. Just depends and is unpredictable. Any advice on how to approach this?

I am so tired of my sister and mom, and the pressure they apply on me to get married, 32 year old female and I have not met someone yet. I was in a relationship last year for a year and he turned out to be a very mean person and they now don’t trust me at all and want me to marry the first nice guy I go on a date with even if I have no attraction at all, and if I go on a couple of dates and I don’t feel it, they question my judgement. I feel like dying from the pressure.
