Hello fellow techies!! I have a question.. it seems like my team and I aren’t being as effective as other Instructional Techs in other districts surrounding us and it drives me bonkers!!!! We don’t have a director. We are a team of 3. Can anyone shed some light and direction my way as to what I can do for my district? This is my second year as a techie and I want to improve so badly.. LMAO what do Afro Latinos look like? I just asked a creative to include more pictures of Afro-Latinos in our hispanic messaging and she said "I tried to find pictures of videos that looked authentic but they didn't have the right look, it's a very specific look". So no black people in the ad cause this white passing lady needs to gate keep who looks latina enough. The blond, blue eyed women in the photos passed though... UGHH.

Whenever I got promoted to digital ACD a few years ago, I noticed my pay was much lower than I expected for the market I’m in, hard to find skillsets, performance, and visibility I’ve brought to the agency. I’ve brought this up a few times and was told HR would do research into salary equity, but the convo always fades. I put my foot down with my GCD, and she supports me, but I would like to come to the table with my own research. Where should I be looking for accuracy?
