@op what do you want to work on?
Are you still pushing hard or are you ready to cash in some chips?
Do you value promotions and recognition?
Do you want to be surrounded by people that are still pushing hard or do you want to be around people who view this as a paycheck more than a calling
Do you want to focus more on other parts of your life or are you still happy crushing it and traveling
S2, are you saying that folks at D are not pushing hard? This seems like a misguided statement. In my current experience, the Slalom folks on client site are dragging and about to get the boot. Not at all trying to start something, but I just haven’t seen any slalom work have any comparable scope or impact. IMO, Might as well just join industry if you don’t want to travel and only want to set up tableau dashboards/be a salesforce admin. As for this decision, Deloitte has far better opportunities post D, including Slalom which will always take Big4 but not vice verse.
Also, don’t forget that D is harder to get into than Harvard so this is a very theoretical situation
Hard to pass up free internet points 🤷🏻♂️
I had this same question and I've chosen Slalom 🙌
Slalom
Slalom. Deloitte is Slalom's little brother.
🍎 & 🍊! What are you looking for? I really like Slalom, but it’s not right for everyone. Let us know what your ideal environment is and I can weigh in a bit more.
Do you want to travel or not ?
Slalom
Don't go you will regret
Slalom
health, 401k, PTO - which had better? acn, d or s?
Well OP, if you have to ask 🙈
Slalom.
🍿
BA1 honestly it’s such a cheesy joke that I can’t believe people are still saying it....
Slalom def in 3rd place in benefits. Acn and d have great benefits
D4....thank you. I needed that. I was hoping people would figure out that if you are highly driven that you should look elsewhere besides slalom.
Slalom is a transition spot before exiting for industry or getting back into the game with the big boys (either big consulting firms or top notch industry companies)
Slalom 2: Not always true that Slalom is just a transition spot.
