Sales is all about people skills. He needs to learn to network. That's how he's gonna get an opportunity
What do you mean by “med sales”? Medical device sales? Pharma? Biotech consulting? Consulting in healthcare?
I don’t have much experience in med device sales but if memory serves, I wouldn’t suggest pharma sales. Biotech and healthcare consulting and seem to really picking up. Every time I look at the job reqs at Oracle, seems like a big concentration in the healthcare space. They are very interested in people with actual clinical and tech experience. I know people who have done very well in med device sales and biotech is a very hot market.
I’d suggest that he do some research on the market and the innovations and offerings different companies have and are working on, everything from start-ups to larger companies and go from there.
When you say med sakes do you mean going door to door and selling medical devices or medicine or software like we sell sas etc
D1, are you going door to door selling SaaS? That would explain some things
Why doesn't your brother reach out to people on LinkedIn that are already in the job? That would be less cringe than asking an anonymous chat group for a referral.
