My career coach / supervisor resigned unexpectedly (from my POV) today and this is their final week. Should I ask any specific questions or get anything documented before they leave?

My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.

Book recommendations? I’ve been reading atomic habits, and have moved onto Traders guns and money.

Any strategy consultant out here willing to share their resume? Hustled and got myself a few intro convos with 2 MBB recruiters, but feel like resume lacks some key pointers. Looking for some inspiration/ ideas on how to enhance my presentation on paper

How often do you job hop or plan to?

Is it better to register as DBA or LLC for someone starting a side hustle that may hopefully turn to a small business?

Family luddites ask about my work and immediately behave annoyed when I start to answer.

I think I read about some kind of process where when an applicant reaches out to a current student or alum for a 1:1 and makes a good impression, the student/alum can send a message to the adcom letting them know? Is it like a "Hey I connected with this applicant and had a great conversation with them. I think they would be a great fit for the program" type of thing?
