My career coach / supervisor resigned unexpectedly (from my POV) today and this is their final week. Should I ask any specific questions or get anything documented before they leave?

Contact their coach and ask if you should ask for feedback before the first coach leaves. If the performance year is basically done I'd just wait for the new year and new coach.

Will any of their thoughts help with your eventual promo case? Who do they trust that would carry weight with your promo. While they are dead for you, can they improve your introductions for your next leader?

Dead??? That is so short sighted.

Since they are your coach, isn’t this a perfect question for them?

My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
