Start looking for a new remote gig. And when you tell them you have found a new position, let them know it was because of their return to office policy.
I preferred working in the office due to my role, but my workplace was fairly far. So, after they announced they wanted us to return to the office, I found a job closer to home (walking distance) with comparable pay and benefits. I don’t regret it; super short commute and I’m in the office. It helps that I get my own office, which is adjoined to my boss’ office.
Are you coming across lucrative opportunities? Are recruiters contacting you everyday? If Yes, leave and double your income while working remotely. If No, you may not have the skillset that attracts remote working opportunities. Any organization pulling a RTO stunt is not trying to attract and retain top talent with looming layoffs and a labor shortage amidst a recession.
I’d ask for a hybrid situation. Otherwise, find a new job. I think the pandemic helped people understand what’s valuable to them, and dedicating 100% of your being to travel and work is not one of those things

Negotiate, or see if they’ll offer a flex schedule. Many entertainment companies are now offering hybrid situations where coming to the office is only required a few days a week. If your company won’t consider this, find one that will!
That kind of thing is never going to work. The reluctance to go into an office is at an all time high.
