I have a question, fellow bowlaz! I work in a small advertising agency in Oslo, Norway, and we struggle to get in contact with international ad media such as Adweek (Ad Freak) and Ad Age whenever we want to show off our creative work. Does anyone of you have a way in, or tips on how we can get in contact with media outlets like these? Cheers

Where is abroad?
UK pays significantly lower. I’ve seen CDs paid equivalent of $50K USD for London agencies.
You can do both. Take the raise and keep pushing
That's the plan in theory but a new contract locks us out for at least 6 months before we can realistically start pushing abroad again. That's the part that stings.
The 25% and title bump are genuinely hard to walk away from though.
Yes, it’s not one or the other. Take the job, take the raise, and keep pushing toward going abroad.
Most agencies aren’t very willing to sponsor visas for first-time applicants right now. Usually, it takes either a strong body of award-winning work or a CCO who really wants to bring you over. If you don’t have that yet, it can take time.
One of the best routes into the US is to become undeniable at a local agency that’s part of a US network and then move internally through that network.
I wouldn’t hold off for an offer abroad. Even if you had your own visa, it would extremely difficult.
